First Baptism
Hola cómo les van? This week was muy rápido! I can't believe I already made it though my first transfer. I'm gonna be staying in Spanish SW with Elder Simonton but sadly Elder Parkin(my MTC comp) is moving areas. I have become super close with him and he has helped me so much to be a better missionary so I will miss him. But don't worry guys cuz I'm still gonna be in a trio! Elder Urrelo is gonna be joining me and Elder Simonton he is from Newport Beach and he is a native Spanish speaker. He is super cool so this next transfer should be lots of fun!
On Tuesday night we went on exchanges with the tagalog elders again. Elder simonton switched with Elder Biddulf. Elder biddulf came out in the same group as me so it was three new missionaries taking over our area for a day. It was lots of fun we started teaching this new guy named aakash he is really cool, we are meeting either again tomorrow. Then on Thursday Elder Simonton had a meeting he had to go to because he is the district leader so we were without a trainer for like 2 and a half days. It was a good experience to be on our own. We had a lot of fun but everything started to go wrong and me and Elder parkin started to panic cuz we didn't know what to do
but everything turned out fine.
We went to the baptism of Luis Pascel on Saturday. Elder simonton taught him in his last area and Luis asked Elder Simonton to baptize him. We only taught him one lesson but it was a very important lesson(tithing & fasting). It was a super cool experience my first baptism I have been to in the mission. The decision to be baptized bring so much blessings and it was really cool seeing my companion baptize someone. Baptism is so important because it is essential to be able to return to live with God again and it shows desire to follow Jesus Christ.

We taught Riley as usual on Thursday night & we talked about keeping the Sabbath day holy. We of course invited him to church like always but this time he said yes! Usually he says he's watching Dragonball with his dad on Sundays or doing something else but he agreed and he came. This was the first time Riley came to church with us and it was awesome! We started teaching this 9 year old girl named Amaite because she is getting baptized on this upcoming Saturday and she just turned 9 last week so she needs all the lesson taught to her before she gets baptized. We have taught her the first 3 lessons so far since Saturday and we are going to try to finish the lessons by tomorrow. She's really smart for 9 years old she pretty much understands everything we teach her.
Well that was my pretty crazy week I had. I hope everyone had a good week! Talk to ya next Tuesday.
