Monopoly for Halloween
Hola amigos y familia! Como estan? It's been a fun & busy week here in Edmonton! Working and studying hard. My testimony gets stronger every week!
Halloween was pretty fun! We had to be back home by 7 so we borrowed monopoly from somebody and played that all night. It was lots of fun even though I lost. I don't know if I put this in my last emails but we live with the two mandarin elders and its lots of fun.
We had Zone Conference of Thursday which was great. Our mission president announced that from now on we need to have lessons everyday wheather if it's with members or nonmembers. Perferably with nonmenebrs though lol. It's really good practice to be better teachers. Since they did flu shots after they had the famous donair pizza for everyone. It was my first time having donair pizza and everyone says it's the best thing on Canada. It was super good we had it like the day after again for dinner with a member.
We taught our friend Luis on Friday and talked about 2 Nephi 31(great chapter). It went very well and he's reading the book of Mormon. Were continuing to work with him on baptism he keeps telling us he wants to be super prepared before he makes that decision. We had dinner Sunday night with the Miles family and they invited their nonmember friends to dinner and we taught them the first lesson. They seemed excited to read the Book of Mormon so hopefully that goes well.
It started snowing on Friday and it's been snowing a little everyday since. And its freezing here now. It was really nice the past couple weeks and now its like -10 celcius. The only good part about the snow is the snowball fights me and my companions have. & it looks really nice. Street contacting and tracting kind of suck now cuz it's too cold.
To explain some of the pictures. The one with the big group of missionaries is when we went singing at the hospital yesterday. They do it every Monday but yesterday was the second time for us. We just sing hymns at the hospital for about two hours its awesome! The guy taking the selfie with us on the basketball court is actually a cool story. We were taking pictures in front of the sign in front of the chapel and as he was walking by i asked him if he wanted a tour of our chapel and he said yes. We ended up becoming his friend and we are trying to set up a time to teach him. He came to FHE last night which is super cool. The rest of the pictures are self explanatory. Hope everyone had a good week!
