Valerie and Tyler

Hola a todos!! Hows it going! These past few weeks have gone by fast! I was going to send an email last week but I ran out of time because we had a sort of mid transfer! I got a new companion because my last one Elder Ballam got called to be an assistant to the president. That wasnt really a surprise hahaha everyone knew he was going to be an AP. My new comps name is Elder Flitton! He is from Layton Utah. I am super excited to continue to show him around Namao and get to know the members even better. So far we are getting along really well and have fun together. We have been able to meet a few more times with Valerie and Tyler! They are doing really good! We were able to have dinner and a lesson with them in a members home which was super great. The spirit is so strong when we teach in the homes of the members. Valerie was able to come to church this past Sunday which is great! We set a new baptismal date for three weeks from now so we really have to help her get to church the next two! We are also starting to teach this new guy named Patrick and he actually reached out to the church because he is really wanting to get closer to God. He is a very nice guy from the Congo and we hope we can continue to help him! General conference was amazing! It is super awesome watching as a missionary because it feels like everything applies to us! One of my favorite quotes was from Elder Vinson.."it’s not our successes but rather our sacrifice and efforts that matter to the Lord". There were so many great talks and I am excited to go back through and study each one! We were able to go to the temple this past Saturday for the Spanish session and that was awesome! I love getting the opportunity to attend the temple while I am on my mission. I hope you all can get the chance to go and feel that special spirit! That's all the updates I got for this time!
