A Little Under the Weather

Hey amigos y familia! Sorry it has been little while since my last email! These past few weeks have been really good although I've had a pretty bad sore throat the past few days but that's not gonna keep me from doing the work! So our new years wasnt really exciting at all other than the fact that our companion Elder Ford went home so it has just been me and Elder Moreira the past 2 weeks which has been lots of fun. We actually just got our transfers calls today and I am getting a new companion! Well technically hes not new because I have been with him before his name is Elder Urrelo and he is a super funny guy! We were companions back when I was being trained. That is crazy how that was a little over a year ago!! Im also stayng in Red Deer which im really happy about because I switch áreas so much! We are trying to find new ways to be able to work with all the Spanish members here because there are a lot of less actives we are helping! We are hoping to be able to start una clase de ven sigame (come follow me clase in Spanish) because it is such a great tool to studying the scriptures! Especially the Book of Mormon! Our mission president has challenged all of us to read the entire book of Mormon to prepare for the next General Conference so I am super excited to do that too along with my study of Come Follow me! One way we are trying to find more to teach the gospel is by offering free English class which we have already found success from just our first class! We dont have anyone that is really close to baptism right now but I will keep you all posted! It is officially freezing here in Canada! We are really relying on the members to help find people because it is too cold to be outside! On Wednesday it looks like it is going to be a high of -36° hahah that is crazy cold! Wish us luck that we will be safe from the cold and not freeze! I hope everyone has a warm great week! Los quiero a todos! Chao
